About the Role

As a Client Care Worker, you'll provide essential direct support to the adults we serve at our shelter, creating a safe, respectful environment where residents can access the resources they need. This is frontline work that matters—you'll be the face of our commitment to housing and food equity every single day.

What You'll Do

  • Greet and check in residents, maintaining accurate records and ensuring a welcoming intake process
  • Monitor daily shelter operations, respond to resident needs, and ensure compliance with house policies
  • Provide compassionate support to individuals experiencing homelessness, including veterans and adults of all genders
  • Assist with meal service, facility maintenance, and daily activities that support resident dignity and well-being
  • Communicate effectively with case managers, counselors, and other team members to coordinate care
  • Document observations and interactions in compliance with organizational procedures
  • Help create a clean, safe, and respectful living environment for all residents
