About the Role

This is a full-time, solo 1099 contract position hauling dry van freight on dedicated line haul lanes. As an independent Class A Contract Driver, you'll cover roughly 3,000 to 3,200 miles each week with a typical gross pay average of $1,400 to $1,500 weekly. The position is over-the-road, so plan on extended time away from home base in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A vehicle safely over the road on dedicated, line haul dry van routes
• Maintain consistent weekly mileage in the 3,000 to 3,200 range
• Run as a solo driver with no load or unload duties (no-touch freight)
• Stay out approximately 5 to 6 days per dispatch cycle
• Comply with all federal and state safety and hours-of-service regulations

Qualifications

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license
• License must be free of the following restrictions: (L, Z) Air Brakes and (G) Night Driving
• Willingness to work as a 1099 independent contractor
• Comfortable with an OTR schedule and extended periods away from home

Home Time

• Expect to be out 5 to 6 days at a time
• Earn 1 day of home time for every 5 days worked
• Weekends home are not guaranteed
