About the Role
DIXON BROS INC is seeking a professional Class A driver to operate tanker trailers transporting petroleum products throughout our service territory. You'll be the face of our company on the road, managing your truck with responsibility and care while meeting customer delivery schedules and maintaining the safety standards that have defined our operations for nearly six decades.
What You'll Do
- Operate commercial tanker trailers safely and efficiently on semi-local routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate logbooks and comply with all Department of Transportation regulations
- Load, transport, and deliver petroleum products to scheduled destinations
- Communicate with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues
- Conduct yourself professionally and represent DIXON BROS INC with integrity
What We're Looking For
- Current Class A Commercial Driver License with tanker endorsement
- Valid DOT medical certificate
- Clean driving record and verifiable commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety best practices
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious work ethic
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
