CAR DRIVER - CLASS A CDL OWNER OPERATOR
About the Role
Diamond Transportation is seeking experienced Owner Operators for Over The Road (OTR) operations. This position requires a minimum of two years of experience in OTR driving, specifically with Regional, Flatbed or Stepdeck trucks. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in chaining, strapping, and securement practices.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Drive long-haul routes for the transportation of farm equipment and tractors
- Ensure safe operation of vehicles and compliance with all safety regulations
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain vehicle integrity
- Handle loading and unloading, including securing cargo properly
- Adhere to strict schedules and delivery deadlines
Skills & Qualifications
- Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements (Regional, Flatbed or Stepdeck)
- A minimum of two years of experience in OTR driving
- Proven knowledge and experience in chaining, strapping, and securement practices
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet delivery deadlines
