Civil Superintendent (Data Centers)

Jacobs is hiring a Civil Superintendent to oversee field construction operations for a critical data center infrastructure project based in Saint Francisville, Louisiana, reporting from our Highland Park, Dallas office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of civil and structural construction on a state-of-the-art data center facility.

About the Role

As Civil Superintendent, you will direct daily field operations, manage construction crews and subcontractors, and ensure all work meets specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing the execution phase of a complex data center build.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all field construction activities and coordinate daily work schedules
• Manage and direct construction crews, subcontractors, and trade partners
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies
• Inspect work quality, materials, and compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
• Document progress, maintain construction records, and report status to project management
• Coordinate with engineers, quality inspectors, and project managers on technical issues
• Monitor budget performance and material costs on the job site
• Resolve field challenges and implement corrective actions as needed
• Conduct equipment and safety inspections to maintain site standards

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Civil Superintendent on large-scale construction projects, preferably in data center, industrial, or infrastructure construction
• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, building codes, and safety protocols
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple crews and coordinate subcontractors
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work on-site full-time
• OSHA 30-hour certification or ability to obtain within 90 days preferred
