Position Summary
Support the financial operations of our Serbian legal entity as part of the EMEA Financial Support Group. Managed day-to-day accounting activities in compliance with local accounting standards, including processing supplier invoices and employee expense reimbursements, maintaining accounts payable, supporting project accounting, and ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Payroll processing for 100+ employees and related reporting using payroll provider support
- Processing of intercompany operations, vendor invoices and employee reports in ERP and accounting system
- Preparation of annual income tax return, monthly VAT declarations, other statutorily required reporting
- Month-end and year-end management reporting
- Communication with tax /statistics/registration authorities related to the local reporting
- Review normative legal framework which may affect company operations
- Financial planning for cash and expenses
- Annual financial statements preparation and analysis, presentation to the management
Skill & Experience
- Good knowledge of Serbian accounting and tax legislation and IFRS
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Relevant education in Accounting/Finance/Economics
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Intermediate level of English or higher
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Finance/Economics or Business is required
