About the Role
As a CNA at Smith Crossing, you're the compassionate care provider our residents depend on most. You'll deliver hands-on support that honors dignity and independence while working with a dedicated team in our senior living community. Your day shift schedule builds lasting connections with residents throughout their daily activities.
What You'll Do
- Assist residents with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Support resident mobility and transfers using safe, respectful techniques
- Observe and communicate any changes in resident health status to nursing staff
- Maintain clean, organized, and comfortable resident living spaces
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Collaborate with nurses and care team members to deliver quality care
What We're Looking For
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- Genuine passion for working with seniors and commitment to respectful care
- Reliable attendance and professional approach
- Physical capability to perform hands-on care and lifting
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Team-oriented mindset with responsiveness to resident and team needs
Compensation & Schedule
This part-time role offers competitive hourly compensation starting at $21 per hour, with rates based on your experience. You'll also receive a 10% weekend differential when working Saturdays and Sundays.
