About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Maria Joseph Manor, you'll work alongside our nursing team to provide essential support and dignity to our residents. This full-time role combines hands-on caregiving with meaningful human connection, giving you the chance to make a real difference each day.
What You'll Do
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor and report vital signs and changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident environments
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Respond promptly to resident requests and call lights
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and other healthcare staff
What We're Looking For
- Current CNA certification (or ability to obtain certification)
- Compassionate approach to patient care and genuine interest in helping seniors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform patient care tasks, including lifting and transfers
- Reliability and commitment to consistent attendance
- Willingness to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Both experienced and entry-level CNAs are welcome to apply
