About the Role
As an overnight CDL Roll-Off Driver at GFL Environmental, you'll be a critical part of our waste services operation, delivering reliable pick-up and transport of roll-off containers across our service territory. You'll interact directly with customers, manage vehicle operations safely and professionally, and ensure materials reach the appropriate processing facilities on schedule.
What You'll Do
- Operate a commercial roll-off truck to pick up and deliver waste containers at customer locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain detailed log documentation
- Navigate routes efficiently across the Belton, Cass County area during overnight hours
- Interact courteously with customers and respond to service requests with professionalism
- Transport collected materials safely to designated disposal and processing facilities
- Follow all DOT regulations, company safety protocols, and environmental compliance standards
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Reliable overnight availability with consistent attendance
- Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to vehicle safety and maintenance
- Ability to lift, carry, and work in varying weather conditions
- Clean driving record and demonstrated responsibility in commercial driving roles
- Customer-focused attitude and professional communication skills
