The Opportunity

Orica is currently seeking a CDL Class B Driver to join our team in safely transporting explosives, blasting materials, and related products to mining, quarrying, and oil & gas sites. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect commercial vehicles for safety and compliance with DOT regulations
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure safe transportation practices
• Complete delivery documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Holding a valid CDL Class B license
• Prior experience in transporting hazardous or heavy goods is preferred
• A strong understanding of DOT and company regulations
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with various teams
• A commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies
