Heartland Express is hiring full-time CDL-A Truck Drivers for regional routes out of Jackson, Jackson County — a home-weekly opportunity designed for experienced drivers who want strong, consistent pay without being away from home for weeks at a time.

About the Role

This is a regional CDL-A position with Heartland Express offering drivers a reliable weekly home schedule, no-touch freight, and performance-based earnings. Annual pay ranges from $53,000 to $83,000, with a fleet average of $58,000 per year. Average weekly gross is $1,120, and top-performing drivers have reached $1,600 per week. Drivers are also eligible for a quarterly safety bonus of 1–3 cents per mile.

What You'll Do

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle over assigned regional lanes in and around Jackson, Jackson County
• Pick up and deliver no-touch freight safely and on schedule
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate electronic logs using an ELD system
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or incidents
• Uphold Heartland Express safety standards on every load

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL issued in the United States
• Meets minimum experience requirements for regional over-the-road driving
• Clean MVR and a demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices
• Ability to manage time independently and meet delivery windows
• Familiarity with DOT Hours of Service rules and ELD compliance
• Professional attitude and strong communication with dispatch and customers
