About the Role
As a Regional Lease Purchase Driver with Premier Transportation, you'll operate your own tractor under our proven business model, hauling freight across regional lanes while retaining the independence you're seeking. This is a full-time position designed for drivers ready to transition from company employment to owner-operator status with genuine support from an established carrier.
What You'll Do
- Operate a commercial vehicle safely and professionally across assigned regional routes
- Manage lease purchase obligations and maintain detailed vehicle records
- Comply with all DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and logbook standards
- Execute on-time deliveries and maintain customer satisfaction standards
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding load status
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- Current DOT medical certificate
- Proven experience driving regionally and managing vehicle operations
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to manage the business side of owner-operator work
- Professional communication and customer service skills
