Join Western Express's Flatbed division as a company driver or driver trainer running OTR routes out of Redford, Michigan. What You'll Do
- Operate a company flatbed truck on over-the-road routes across the US
- Safely load, secure, and tarp freight in compliance with DOT and company standards
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and stay current with all Hours of Service regulations
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, shippers, and receivers
- Driver trainers: mentor and develop new CDL drivers in flatbed operations and safety practices
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with flatbed hauling, including tarping and securing loads
- Clean motor vehicle record and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Comfort operating an OTR schedule with extended time away from home
- Flatbed experience preferred; driver trainers must meet Western Express's training certification requirements
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and on-time delivery
