About the Role This is a full-time, over-the-road dry van position running an average of 2,000 miles per week. Drivers operate on a 12-days-out / 2-days-home schedule. Solo drivers earn between 57 and 64 cents per mile based on experience, with a guaranteed weekly minimum of $1,500.* The top 20% of U.S. Xpress OTR solo drivers take home $1,700 or more per week. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualifying solo drivers. Team drivers can earn even more — $0.72 to $0.80 CPM split, averaging 5,000 miles per week as a team, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus split between partners. If you don't have a co-driver, U.S. Xpress will help match you with one.
