Aequor Healthcare Services, LLC. is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a part-time contract opportunity based in Orange Park, Clay County — supporting a dynamic cardiovascular team delivering high-acuity cardiac care.

About the Role

This is a 13-week part-time contract position working day shifts in a cardiac catheterization lab environment in Orange Park. The schedule consists of 10-hour shifts, providing flexibility while keeping you at the center of life-saving cardiovascular procedures.

What You'll Do

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions
• Operate and maintain fluoroscopic imaging systems, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, and other cath lab technology
• Prepare patients for procedures — reviewing history, explaining the process, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout
• Maintain a sterile scrub field and circulate during procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Administer contrast agents and medications under the direct supervision of the attending physician
• Accurately document procedure details, patient data, and equipment readings in the medical record
• Perform routine equipment checks, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with biomedical staff as needed
• Collaborate with nurses, anesthesia, and the broader care team to deliver safe, efficient patient care

What We're Looking For

• Current ARRT (Cardiovascular Interventional) or RCIS certification, or equivalent credentialing recognized for cath lab practice
• Active BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Hands-on experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or cardiovascular imaging setting
• Proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring systems and fluoroscopic equipment
• Strong attention to detail, clinical judgment, and the ability to respond quickly in fast-paced environments
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach to patient care
