Griswold Home Care For Lower Eastern Shore is hiring a compassionate, dependable Caregiver (8a–8p / 8p–8a shifts) in Easton, Talbot County — a full-time, in-person role supporting clients who want to age safely and comfortably at home.

About the Role

As a Caregiver with Griswold Home Care For Lower Eastern Shore, you will provide hands-on, person-centered support during 12-hour day or overnight shifts. Based out of our Salisbury, MD office serving the Lower Eastern Shore, our team is looking for caring individuals who treat every client with dignity, patience, and respect. This is an ideal opportunity whether you are an experienced caregiver or someone eager to begin a meaningful career in home care — training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Support light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• Provide companionship and engage clients in safe, enjoyable daily routines
• Monitor clients' well-being and communicate any changes to the care team
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe home environment during day (8a–8p) or overnight (8p–8a) shifts

Qualifications

• A genuine commitment to helping others and a warm, compassionate attitude
• Reliability and the flexibility to work full-time 12-hour day or overnight shifts
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow individualized care plans
• Prior caregiving experience is welcome but not required — training is provided
