About the Role

PSL is hiring a full-time Caregiver/Care Partner to cover the early weekend shift, working from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays in our Lubbock senior living community. In this hands-on, resident-facing position, you'll be the first friendly face many residents see each morning, helping them start their day comfortably, safely, and with a sense of belonging. The advertised starting wage for this position is $14–$17.

Key Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities such as grooming, dressing, mobility, and personal care.
• Encourage independence while ensuring each resident's comfort, safety, and dignity.
• Build genuine, caring relationships that brighten residents' weekend mornings.
• Observe and communicate changes in resident well-being to the care team.
• Help create a welcoming, respectful environment within the senior living building.

Qualifications

• A sincere passion for serving and uplifting older adults.
• Reliability and availability for the Saturday and Sunday 6a–2p shift.
• Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide attentive, person-centered care in a team setting.
