Campaign Operations Associate

Reports To: Director of Ad Operations

Location: Montreal, QC / Hybrid

About us

With the newly integrated Place Exchange SSP, Broadsign’s Sales Organization is growing and looking for a talented Campaign Ops Associate. Broadsign is a leading programmatic ad tech company on a mission to make buying, selling, and delivering out-of-home media easier than ever. Our platform powers the world’s most successful OOH and retail media businesses while enabling agencies and brands to seamlessly plan and execute dynamic OOH campaigns across the globe.

About the Role

As the programmatic ecosystem expands, maintaining optimal system performance and deep technical harmony between platforms is paramount. The Campaign Ops Associate sits at the core of our technical operations, serving as the technical lead within a cross-functional pod. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical complexity and business logic, taking ownership of the integrity and yield performance of the Place Exchange and Broadsign supply-side ecosystem. You will run deep diagnostics, untangle complex delivery anomalies, and build automation workflows that keep our exchange operating at peak health.

What to Expect

  • Collaboration: Participate in daily AdOps meetings to align on pod strategy, review live actions, and sync via automated Slack channels.
  • Proactive Monitoring: Build and monitor custom dashboards using Looker or other analytical tools to track campaign health from pre-launch to execution.
  • Issue Diagnosis: Investigate abstract delivery issues to determine if faults are internal or stem from the programmatic ecosystem, executing direct resolutions or escalating as needed.
  • Code Inspection: Review underlying parameter values and system configurations within the code to anticipate system needs and coordinate with Engineering, Product, and Services.
  • Special Projects: Own at least one dedicated technical project based on your passions and pending Broadsign platform needs.

What you need to perform in this job

  • Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in Ad Tech, with a strong preference for individuals who have worked within an SSP or DSP.
  • Technical Fluency: Strong ability to interpret complex system signals and bid-stream data; high proficiency in relational database querying and utilizing SQL or Looker logic.
  • Problem Solving: A true “builder” mindset with a deep interest in utilizing AI, machine learning, or automated prompt engineering to continuously improve operational workflows.
  • Collaborative Mindset: A highly collaborative teammate who thrives in cross-functional pod environments, possesses a strong ownership mentality, and excels at bridging communication gaps between engineering, product, external demand partners, and clients.

What we bring to the table

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Complete company insurance plan (health, dental, vision, travel) effective from day one, 100% employer-paid.
  • Health Spending Account: $500 annual Health Care Savings Account (HCSA) to cover additional health-related expenses.
  • Virtual Healthcare: Unlimited access to the Telus Health virtual healthcare platform.
  • Wellness Fund: $500 annual Wellness fund for mental/physical health and office-related expenses.
  • Paid Time Off: Minimum 3 weeks vacation, 5 floater days, 5 sick/personal days, and 2 volunteer days.
  • Retirement Savings: Group RRSP with a 50% employer matching up to 4% of your salary.
  • Financial Perks: Transportation reimbursement for travel to a Broadsign office.
  • Family Support: Parental leave salary supplement featuring up to 23 weeks of salary supplement (top-up) for mothers.
  • Growth Opportunities: Training & development opportunities with a yearly budget and 3 paid training days to support your professional growth.

Working in Montréal, Canada

Montreal is the largest city in the province of Quebec, the second-largest in Canada, and the eighth-largest in North America. Founded in 1642 as Ville-Marie, or "City of Mary", it now takes its name from Mount Royal, the triple-peaked mountain around which the early settlement was built. The city is centred on the Island of Montreal and a few, much smaller, peripheral islands, the largest of which is Île Bizard. It lies 196 kilometres (122 mi) east of the national capital, Ottawa, and 258 kilometres (160 mi) southwest of the provincial capital, Quebec City.
