About the Role

This contract, task-based position with Volga Partners centers on reviewing, analyzing, and improving the quality of language data used to train advanced AI systems. Working remotely from Estonia, you will research and interpret datasets, refine training material, and contribute Swedish-language expertise to a global technology client. Tasks are assigned as they arrive on a first-come, first-served basis, with notifications via WhatsApp, email, or Slack after onboarding, so the role suits anyone seeking supplemental income through flexible, on-demand work aligned with the IST time zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret datasets and turn raw data into clear, actionable insights.
• Process and label data batches accurately according to project specifications.
• Perform quality assurance by spotting anomalies and correcting issues to protect data integrity.
• Supply Swedish-to-English translations and cultural context where needed.
• Recommend improvements to processes based on your analysis.
• Transcribe and annotate audio or video files per detailed guidelines (please flag transcription experience in your application).

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in reading and writing Swedish and English.
• Sharp logical reasoning and analytical ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Some exposure to data labeling, data manipulation, or quality assurance, ideally within technology.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, improvement-minded attitude.
• Excellent listening, comprehension, written communication, and typing skills.
• Reliable high-speed internet and your own working device (laptop or desktop) from day one.
• Availability in the IST time zone, preferably from 8am IST onward.
• Linguist certification is a welcome bonus.
