In this full-time Business Development Representative position, you'll focus on expanding our emerging vendor portfolio by developing new vendor relationships and driving partnership opportunities. Based in Buffalo, you'll work to connect promising technology vendors with our extensive distribution network and channel capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and reach out to emerging technology vendors to understand their business models and distribution objectives
• Develop and nurture vendor relationships with decision-makers across partner organizations
• Qualify sales opportunities and identify vendors with strong market potential for our portfolio
• Conduct market research to stay current on emerging technology trends and vendor innovations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate vendor offerings and market alignment
• Maintain detailed records of vendor interactions, pipeline status, and follow-up activities in CRM systems
• Present Ingram Micro's distribution strengths and partnership benefits to potential vendors

What We're Looking For

• Proven success in business development, sales development, or vendor management roles
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities across all organizational levels
• Background in technology sales, IT distribution, or the technology ecosystem
• Understanding of vendor management and the IT channel landscape
• Self-directed approach with strong pipeline management and organizational skills
