About the Role

As a Business Banking Officer, you are responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of business relationships. Working alongside the Community Bank Managers and reporting to the EVP – Director of Business Banking, you'll identify opportunities to serve businesses with both credit and deposit solutions tailored to their unique needs.

What You'll Do

• Cultivate new business relationships and identify credit and deposit opportunities within your geographic market
• Serve businesses with annual revenues up to $10 million
• Manage and grow a portfolio of business accounts through proactive relationship management
• Evaluate credit requests and structure loan proposals that meet both client needs and bank standards
• Cross-sell deposit products, treasury services, and other banking solutions
• Maintain regulatory compliance and thorough documentation throughout the lending process
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Experience in commercial or business banking, loan origination, or relationship management
• Strong ability to analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining client relationships
• Knowledge of banking products, credit fundamentals, and regulatory requirements
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
