About the Role

As a Burmese Interpreter with LTC Language Solutions, you will accept interpreting assignments on an as-needed basis across diverse community and healthcare settings throughout the Fort Wayne area. This full-time position offers flexibility within a structured appointment schedule, allowing you to support the growing demand for professional Burmese language services in our region.

What You'll Do

• Provide accurate, professional interpretation services in English and Burmese across multiple community and organizational settings
• Interpret in medical and healthcare environments, including clinics, hospitals, and health agencies
• Support social work agencies, case management services, and human services organizations
• Assist in educational settings, community groups, and workplace environments
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards and ethics
• Manage flexible appointment schedules and respond promptly to scheduling requests

What We're Looking For

• Fluency in both English and Burmese (written and spoken proficiency required)
• Minimum of 3 years of professional interpreting experience
• Demonstrated experience interpreting in medical, social services, education, or workplace settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cultural competency
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, assignment-based schedule
• Commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and client confidentiality
