About the Role

As a Building Performance Analyst at DLR Group, you will partner with architects, engineers, and design teams to study how buildings consume energy, manage daylight, and support occupant comfort. Based on-site in Cleveland, you will translate analysis into actionable design guidance that advances both client goals and broader environmental outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct energy modeling and building performance simulations across architectural projects.
• Evaluate daylighting, thermal comfort, and overall efficiency to inform early and ongoing design decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate performance findings into project documentation.
• Support sustainability targets, code compliance, and certification efforts where applicable.
• Communicate technical results clearly to designers, clients, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Background in building science, architecture, engineering, environmental design, or a closely related field.
• Familiarity with energy modeling tools and building performance analysis methods.
