Bryant & Stratton College Careers invites experienced psychology educators to join our faculty as a part-time adjunct professor teaching blended and fully online psychology courses. About the Role
As an adjunct professor of psychology in our blended and online delivery format, you will create and facilitate engaging psychology instruction through a combination of asynchronous learning modules, interactive online discussions, and synchronous virtual sessions. This part-time faculty role is designed for educators who excel at making psychology accessible and relevant to working adults and traditional students seeking flexible, self-paced learning options.
What You'll Do
- Develop and deliver psychology course content in blended and fully online educational formats
- Facilitate synchronous sessions through video conferencing and asynchronous discussions via learning management systems
- Evaluate student learning through exams, papers, projects, and comprehensive written feedback
- Communicate regularly with students through email, discussion forums, and virtual office hours
- Partner with instructional design and student support staff to optimize the online learning experience
- Apply current best practices in online pedagogy and educational technology integration
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Psychology or a closely related field
- Demonstrated experience teaching psychology courses at the college or university level
- Prior experience instructing in online, blended, or distance education environments (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills suited for virtual instruction
- Competence with learning management systems and online educational platforms
- Genuine commitment to student success and effective remote teaching
