About the Role

As a Biotech Patent Attorney at Kim IP, you will guide innovators in the life sciences through the protection of their inventions. This is an on-site position based in Gibbsboro, Camden County, ideal for a seasoned practitioner who brings both technical depth in biology and a portable book of business of at least $200,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications covering biotech and life-science inventions.
• Advise clients on intellectual property strategy, patentability, and portfolio development.
• Manage and grow an existing book of client relationships within the firm.
• Translate complex biological and scientific concepts into clear, defensible patent claims.
• Collaborate with attorneys and technical staff to deliver high-quality counsel.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a biotech patent attorney with a strong track record in prosecution.
• An academic background in biology or a closely related scientific discipline.
• A portable book of business of at least $200,000.
• Outstanding academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
