WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design and build robust, scalable APIs and backend services using Python with Django or FastAPI.

  • Own the backend architecture of core product features: from data modelling to deployment.

  • Optimize database performance across SQL, NoSQL, and Vector stores — for speed, reliability, and AI-readiness.

  • Develop and improve backend services that integrate LLM and NLP capabilities into our product, building on top of our AI platform.

  • Collaborate with frontend and product teams through well-defined, reliable API contracts.

  • Uphold engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and CI/CD best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 3+ years of backend development experience, with strong Python skills.

  • Solid experience with Django or FastAPI in production environments.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure fundamentals.

  • Experience with modern databases — relational, document-based, or vector (a plus).

  • Strong understanding of Git workflows, API design, and software engineering principles.

  • Experience or genuine interest in ML/NLP and LLM integrations is a significant plus.

  • Familiarity with AI developer tools and ecosystems — such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude, or similar frameworks — is a plus.

  • Proactive, ownership-driven mindset — you flag problems, propose solutions, and follow through.
