Back-End Web Game Developer

The Igloo Company, a company deeply immersed in web3 technology and the parent organization of Pudgy Penguins is currently, in search of a Back end Game Developer to join their team. They are looking for someone who can take charge of designing, developing and maintaining the games server side logic and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with front end developers, designers and stakeholders to ensure an user experience while optimizing APIs for web based gaming. Additionally they will handle integration with services and APIs efficiently manage databases and deploy well as maintain gaming applications in a live environment. Proficiency in JavaScript and server side development is a must have skillset for this role. Familiarity with Next.js and Nest.js frameworks is highly desirable too. Certification in AWS along with expertise in working with PostgreSQL databases and Redis for caching purposes as session management are also vital requirements. While a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred relevant work experience will be taken into consideration well. The company offers a salary package along with benefits.
