Catholic Education Diocese of Rockhampton - AV Technician - Gooburrum, Bundaberg Surrounds About the Role We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated AV Technician to join our team at Shalom College in Gooburrum, Bundaberg Surrounds. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating audio-visual equipment, ensuring all technical aspects of school events run smoothly, and providing support to staff and students. Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual systems Support in the setup and operation of AV equipment during school functions and meetings Maintain inventory of AV equipment and supplies Assist with the troubleshooting and repair of AV equipment as needed Collaborate with staff to ensure AV needs are met for various events and activities What You'll Do The AV Technician will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to: Installing and configuring audio-visual systems in classrooms and common areas Maintaining the inventory of AV equipment and supplies to ensure availability during events Providing technical support for staff and students during school functions and meetings Assisting with the troubleshooting and repair of AV equipment as needed, including replacing faulty components and performing routine maintenance Collaborating with teachers and administrators to understand their AV needs and providing solutions accordingly What We're Looking For We are seeking a candidate who possesses the following qualifications and skills: A minimum of 3 years' experience in audio-visual support or related field Familiarity with various AV equipment such as projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working closely with staff and students A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and processes More About Catholic Education Diocese of Rockhampton Catholic Education - Diocese of Rockhampton is a leading educational institution dedicated to providing quality education to students across Central Queensland.
