About the Role

As an Automotive Technician with Adventure Subaru, you'll be at the heart of our service operation in Johnson, Washington County, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles with precision and care. This is a hands-on, full-time position built around roughly 40 hours each week. We believe in developing and keeping great people, so you'll join a team that invests in training and supports your growth as the dealership continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems across Subaru vehicles
• Carry out scheduled maintenance, routine servicing, and component repairs to manufacturer standards
• Document inspections and completed work clearly for service advisors and customers
• Identify additional service needs and communicate recommendations honestly
• Keep your bay, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and safe
• Stay current with Subaru technologies, repair procedures, and best practices

Qualifications

• Prior automotive repair experience is required for this role
• Strong diagnostic skills and solid working knowledge of vehicle systems
• Ability to use shop equipment, diagnostic tools, and technical resources confidently
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, safety, and customer trust
• A valid driver's license and a positive, team-first attitude
• Willingness to work full-time, on-site in Johnson, Washington County
