About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Elmwood Park, Illinois dealership. As a journeyman-level Honda technician, you will be a cornerstone of our service department, diagnosing and repairing vehicles with the precision and care our customers have come to expect. You will work alongside a motivated team in a fast-paced shop that values craftsmanship, technical curiosity, and a genuine commitment to keeping every Honda running at its best.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Honda vehicles across a range of systems.
• Complete routine services, inspections, and warranty work to manufacturer standards.
• Identify mechanical and electrical issues and recommend appropriate, reliable solutions.
• Document repair findings and services performed clearly and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure a smooth, customer-focused experience.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in line with shop and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience as an automotive technician, ideally at a journeyman level.
• Strong familiarity with Honda vehicles and dealership service practices preferred.
• Solid diagnostic skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
