About the Role

As an Auto Care Center Team Associate at Walmart, you'll work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where your technical skills and service mindset directly impact customer satisfaction. You'll support the daily operations of our automotive service center, contributing to everything from customer interactions to vehicle maintenance tasks and facility upkeep.

What You'll Do

• Assist with tire services, oil changes, and routine vehicle maintenance
• Greet customers, manage appointments, and provide clear service recommendations
• Maintain organized, clean work areas and comply with safety standards
• Support the team in diagnosing basic vehicle issues and explaining services to customers
• Process payments, handle cash drawer responsibilities, and maintain accurate service records
• Ensure all work meets Walmart's quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with experienced technicians to deliver fast, reliable service

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work reliably within a scheduled full-time position
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn automotive best practices
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Teamwork mindset and flexibility in a dynamic environment
• Prior automotive or service center experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation and Benefits

Walmart offers competitive hourly compensation with a range of $14–$27 per hour, based on role, experience, and location. Eligible team members receive annual or quarterly performance incentives, and additional premiums may apply based on schedule or facility needs.
