Assistant Store Manager

About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in driving sales, maintaining visual standards, and ensuring the store runs smoothly each day. This full‑time role is based at the Safelite location in Indian Rocks Beach, where you will partner with associates to meet performance goals and uphold the brand’s commitment to quality service.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and coach retail associates on customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, cash handling, and end‑of‑day reconciliations.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and conduct regular cycle counts.
• Help enforce loss‑prevention policies, safety protocols, and store cleanliness standards.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to foster loyalty and repeat business.
• Participate in scheduling, performance reviews, and training initiatives for the store team.
• Support visual merchandising efforts to maintain an appealing and organized sales floor.
• Report key metrics to the Store Manager and contribute to action plans for continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in retail supervision, sales floor management, or a related leadership role.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Solid grasp of cash handling, inventory control, and basic merchandising principles.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff.
• Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written, for clear direction and feedback.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certifications in retail management are a plus.
