Assistant Property Manager – Lumeo at Tryon Park

Grubb Properties is hiring a full-time Assistant Property Manager for Lumeo at Tryon Park, our residential community in Newell, North Carolina. This is your opportunity to grow your property management career while making a real difference in the daily lives of residents in the Charlotte area.

About the Role

As Assistant Property Manager at Lumeo at Tryon Park, you'll be the backbone of our on-site operations team. Working alongside property leadership, you'll handle the hands-on work that keeps our residential community running smoothly—from resident communications to maintenance coordination to financial administration. You'll develop skills across all facets of multifamily management while building strong relationships with residents and vendors.

What You'll Do

• Support daily community operations and resident services at our Lumeo at Tryon Park location
• Respond to resident inquiries and coordinate maintenance and repair requests
• Assist with lease administration, move-ins, move-outs, and resident communications
• Monitor compliance with property policies and community standards
• Support the Property Manager in financial reporting and record-keeping
• Contribute to resident events and community engagement initiatives
• Help coordinate emergency response and safety protocols

What We're Looking For

• A customer-focused professional who enjoys solving problems and supporting residents
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and in person
• Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn property management software
• Reliability and accountability—we need someone who shows up and follows through
• Prior property management, customer service, or related administrative experience is a plus
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
