About This Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Property Manager to join our property management division in the Troy area. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will report to the Property Manager and take on a central role in the day-to-day operations of our multifamily residential communities. Key Responsibilities

• Support lease administration, renewals, and occupancy initiatives for multifamily properties
• Assist with tenant communication, move-in/move-out processes, and resident relations
• Coordinate maintenance requests and work order tracking with property maintenance teams
• Help maintain accurate records, rent rolls, and property documentation
• Support rent collection and financial reporting processes under Property Manager guidance
• Participate in lease enforcement and property compliance activities
• Assist with community events and resident satisfaction initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with computer systems and property management software
• Ability to work full-time in our Troy, Rensselaer County location
• Customer service mindset and professional demeanor
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work collaboratively with a team
• Property management experience or certification a plus
