Assistant Project Manager

Dashiell is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our operations in Roanoke, Denton County. This is a full-time role based on-site, where you'll develop project management expertise while contributing to the delivery of critical infrastructure services across the electric utility and energy sectors.

About the Role

As an Assistant Project Manager at Dashiell, you'll work alongside experienced project leaders to coordinate planning, execution, and completion of technical and construction projects serving the nation's electric infrastructure. You'll gain hands-on experience managing timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communication while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.

What You'll Do

• Support project planning and scheduling, tracking milestones and deliverables across multiple initiatives
• Assist in budget management, cost tracking, and resource allocation for assigned projects
• Coordinate between field teams, engineering, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope and expectations
• Monitor project progress and document status reports, highlighting risks and proposing solutions
• Help maintain compliance documentation, permits, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in safety planning and support hazard assessments on job sites
• Contribute to process improvements and lessons-learned documentation

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, construction management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Clear written and verbal communication with the ability to document findings and present updates
• Basic understanding of construction, electrical infrastructure, or project controls
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn project management software tools
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in tracking and reporting
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior project leaders
