Popeyes in Muncie, Indiana (Delaware County) is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations at our 3000 N. Wheeling Ave location.
About the Role
As an Assistant Manager at Popeyes Muncie, you'll share ownership of the restaurant's performance alongside the General Manager. You'll keep the team moving, the kitchen running, and the guest experience consistently strong — every shift, every day.
What You'll Do
- Build and manage employee schedules to ensure optimal labor coverage across all dayparts
- Place food and supply orders to maintain inventory levels and minimize waste
- Coach, develop, and motivate a restaurant team to meet performance and service standards
- Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations, local health codes, and company food safety protocols
- Uphold security procedures and maintain a safe environment for both crew and guests
- Monitor shift operations and step in to resolve service, staffing, or quality issues in real time
- Assist with cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and daily reporting
- Drive a culture of accountability, cleanliness, and hospitality throughout the team
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in a restaurant supervisory or shift lead role, preferably in quick-service or fast-casual
- Working knowledge of food safety standards and health code requirements
- Strong communication and team-leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent quality
- Comfortable with scheduling, basic inventory management, and shift-level financial controls
