About the Role

As Assistant Manager, you'll support the Store Manager in all aspects of cafe operations, playing a key role in maintaining service standards, growing sales, and fostering a positive work environment. You'll be instrumental in training crew members, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving operational excellence every shift.

• Support store management while developing leadership and operational skills
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to uphold company standards
• Oversee daily service operations, food quality, and customer interactions
• Assist with inventory management, food cost control, and waste reduction
• Help manage staffing schedules and ensure adequate crew coverage
• Respond to customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
• Support compliance with food safety, health, and company policies
• Contribute to sales growth and promotional initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated management or supervisory experience in food service, retail, or hospitality
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant operations
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant management certifications a plus
