Assistant General Counsel

About the Role

The Assistant General Counsel will provide strategic legal guidance and counsel to Micron Technology across a range of corporate, commercial, and compliance matters. You'll work closely with the General Counsel and broader Legal Department to drive legal strategy, manage risk, and support business objectives on a global scale. This role combines substantive legal work with cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Deliver legal advice on corporate transactions, contracts, and commercial arrangements
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and corporate documents
• Advise on regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance matters
• Support due diligence efforts on acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic initiatives
• Manage intellectual property considerations and technology licensing issues
• Collaborate with business units to identify and mitigate legal risks
• Contribute to the development and execution of Legal Department strategy

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar admission in any U.S. state
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally in corporate, commercial, or technology law
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously
• Excellent communication and business acumen
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
