What You'll Do Oversee operational systems and procedures for residential facilities, ensuring compliance with university policies and safety standards Lead, train, and support residential staff members, including professional staff and student leaders, to deliver excellent student-centered services Coordinate logistics for housing assignments, check-in/check-out processes, and residential programming initiatives Collaborate with facilities, maintenance, and external vendors to address building needs, repairs, and upgrades Develop and implement operational budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost efficiencies Monitor residential community standards, supporting conduct and community development processes Contribute to assessment and continuous improvement of residential life operations and student outcomes What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, or related field preferred Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in residential life, housing operations, or student affairs Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to supervise and mentor diverse staff members Strong organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail Experience managing budgets or financial systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to navigate complex situations with students, staff, and departments Knowledge of student development principles and commitment to inclusive, equitable residential communities About Temple University Temple University is a comprehensive, research-focused institution serving 35,000+ students in Philadelphia.
