About the Role

As Assistant Director, Operations Strategy Implementation at Fordham University Portal, you will report to the Assistant Vice President for Finance Operations and Strategy. You will act as a driving force behind the rollout of significant administrative and financial programs that underpin the University's strategic plan, converting high-level priorities into structured, actionable implementation work across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of major administrative and financial initiatives tied to Fordham's strategic plan.
• Translate strategic priorities into coordinated, practical implementation steps and workstreams.
• Partner with the Assistant Vice President for Finance Operations and Strategy to keep initiatives on track and aligned with University goals.
• Collaborate across the Office of Finance and other University functions to advance shared operational objectives.
• Help monitor progress, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure initiatives move from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• Experience contributing to or leading administrative, financial, or operational initiatives, ideally within a complex organization or higher education setting.
• Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to turn strategy into organized, executable plans.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• An analytical, detail-oriented approach to managing multiple priorities and tracking outcomes.
