About the Role

As Area Manager II, you'll oversee daily operations for an assigned section of our Northborough fulfillment center. You'll supervise a team of hourly associates, creating an environment where safety, quality, and customer focus are non-negotiable. Your leadership directly impacts how smoothly operations run and how effectively we deliver packages to millions of Amazon customers.

What You'll Do

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of hourly associates in your area
• Establish and maintain the highest safety standards, identifying and correcting hazards proactively
• Drive quality metrics and operational efficiency across package handling and processing
• Manage attendance, scheduling, and associate performance to meet operational targets
• Engage your team throughout their shifts to build trust, sustain morale, and understand their needs
• Report on staffing, associate concerns, and area performance to senior leadership
• Support company initiatives and adapt to evolving operational requirements

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience managing hourly teams in a warehouse, fulfillment, retail, or similar fast-paced environment
• Strong commitment to safety and proven ability to maintain compliance standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with genuine interest in developing others
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Data-driven approach to problem-solving and performance management
