Headout LI

🚀 Why Headout?

We’re a rocketship: 9-figure revenue, record growth, and profitable

With $130M in revenue, guests in 100+ cities, and 18 months of profitability, Headout is the fastest-growing marketplace in the travel industry, and we’re just getting started. We’ve raised $60M+ from top-tier investors and are building a durable company for the long term — because that’s what our mission needs and deserves. We’re growing, profitable and nowhere near done.

What we do is important

In an increasingly digital world, there is a desperate need to augment our human experience by getting us to interact with the real world around us and the people in it. At Headout, our mission is to be the easiest, fastest, and most delightful way to head out to a real-life experience — from immersive tours to museums to live events and everything in between.

Why now?

The foundation is strong. The opportunity ahead is even bigger. We’ve hit profitability, built momentum, and proven the model — but there’s so much more to build. If you’re looking to join a company where the trajectory is steep and your impact is real, this is the moment.

Our culture

Reinventing the travel industry isn’t easy, but that’s the fun part.
We care deeply about ownership, craft, and impact, and we’re here to do the best work of our careers. We won’t pretend like it’s for everyone but if you’re a builder who loves solving tough problems, you’ll feel right at home.

👩‍💻 The role

As Manager, Product Analytics, you’ll lead the analytics function for Headout’s Product org. This isn’t about dashboards and reports; it’s about building product intelligence that compounds into competitive advantage.

You’ll define the metrics that matter, build the experimentation muscle, and ensure product decisions are grounded in customer understanding. You’ll partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to shape what we build, not just measure what we shipped.

You’ll also build and lead a team of product analysts who operate like owners: sharp on metrics, strong on problem framing, and measured by the outcomes they enable, not the analyses they deliver.

🤩 What makes this role special?

  • Build Product Intelligence, Not Just Measurement: You’ll define the metrics, frameworks, and experimentation systems that make Headout’s product smarter over time. Your work shapes the intelligence layer, not just the reporting layer.
  • Thought Partner, Not Report Generator: You’ll work directly with Product leadership to answer “what should we build next?” not just “what happened?” You’ll bring clarity on customer behaviour, funnel bottlenecks, and where the highest-leverage opportunities are. When the product roadmap is debated, your perspective will be in the room.
  • Shape the Experimentation Engine: You’ll raise the bar on how we run experiments; hypothesis quality, statistical rigor, guardrails, and decision-making. You’ll help teams move fast without making noisy or misleading calls. Experimentation becomes a capability, not a bottleneck.
  • Build a Team of Owners: You’ll hire, mentor, and develop product analysts who own problem domains, not task queues. Analysts who can frame problems, define success, and drive adoption, not just write SQL and hand off slides.
  • Drive Outcomes That Compound: Your work will directly improve conversion, retention, and LTV. But more importantly, it will build systems that keep improving: ranking models that learn, retention frameworks that clarify priorities, recommendations that get smarter. The advantage compounds.

💝 What skills & experience do you need?

  • 6-10 years in product analytics, with at least 2 years leading or mentoring analysts. Track record of defining metrics that teams actually use to make decisions.
  • Strong problem framing: you can translate ambiguous questions into testable hypotheses and clear measurement plans.
  • Experimentation expertise: you’ve run A/B tests end-to-end, understand statistical pitfalls, and know when experiments are needed and when they’re not
  • Full-funnel fluency: acquisition → activation → conversion → retention. You can diagnose drop-offs, interpret cohort behaviour, and identify segmentation insights
  • Advanced SQL; comfortable with Python/R for analysis and statistics
