About the Role

Cresta is looking for inquisitive, sharp-eyed students to join our AI Delivery team as AI Quality Assurance Interns in Toronto, Ontario. In this hands-on position, you'll assess how Cresta's AI Agents and Agent Assist systems behave, measuring their accuracy, consistency, and dependability. This goes well beyond conventional software QA, blending several disciplines:

• Analyzing how AI systems make decisions and respond
• Evaluating intent recognition and classification
• Judging the quality of automated conversations
• Auditing model outputs for correctness
• Testing and fine-tuning prompts at a foundational level

Key Responsibilities

Your work helps guarantee that our AI performs as designed, respects business rules, and delivers safe, reliable results to real users. Day to day, you will:

• Carry out structured test plans across AI Agent deployments
• Confirm that intents, entities, and workflows fire as expected
• Flag inconsistent behavior, misclassifications, and hallucinations
• Inspect AI-generated summaries, suggestions, and classifications for accuracy
• Share practical feedback to strengthen intent models and PII redaction handling
• Conduct bias, redaction, and transcription accuracy reviews
• Detect recurring patterns or new issues surfacing across test sets
• Suggest improvements to our internal QA tooling and methods

Qualifications

This internship suits students drawn to:

• AI/ML, natural language processing, or conversational chatbots
• Product quality and the end-user experience
• Linguistics, conversation analysis, or human–AI interaction
• A future in AI evaluation, AI operations, or product QA
