Remote VA is hiring a full-time AI & Automation Specialist (n8n & ElevenLabs) based in the Philippines to engineer intelligent, voice-enabled workflows that replace repetitive manual work with reliable automation.
About the Role
As Remote VA's AI & Automation Specialist, you'll architect and run advanced, AI-powered processes that connect data pipelines with the newest generative voice and language technology. The position calls for a genuine n8n power user who can translate slow, hands-on tasks into smooth automated experiences, with a particular emphasis on speech synthesis and conversational AI. You'll lean heavily on large language models and modern audio tooling to ship automations that simply work.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow architecture: Plan, build, and ship complete automations in n8n, whether self-hosted or cloud-based.
- Voice integration: Deploy and tune high-fidelity ElevenLabs synthesis for automated content, phone agents, and personalized outreach.
- API connectivity: Wire together CRMs, databases, and social platforms through REST APIs, webhooks, and custom HTTP calls inside n8n.
- LLM orchestration: Fold OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), or local models into flows for extraction, summarization, and content creation.
- Audio refinement: Adjust ElevenLabs parameters — stability, clarity, and style — to deliver studio-quality output.
- Monitoring & optimization: Keep systems healthy, resolve failed executions, and trim token usage and execution costs.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in no-code/low-code automation or backend development.
- Deep command of n8n nodes, expressions, and embedded JavaScript for intricate data transformations.
- Hands-on ElevenLabs API experience, including Instant and Professional voice cloning, Speech-to-Speech, and the Projects API.
- Strong JavaScript/Node.js skills for custom function nodes.
- Expert handling of JSON, Regex, and deeply nested data arrays.
- Exposure to vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) and LangChain concepts is a meaningful bonus.
- A natural problem solver and meticulous worker who can showcase a portfolio of automations you've built.
