About the Role
As a Creative Intern on our Adventure Ted Creative Board, you'll develop visual content, character designs, apparel concepts, and animated materials that inspire families and supporters of Childhood Cancer Society. Your work will help bring Adventure Ted to life across multiple mediums, strengthening our organization's brand presence and supporting our mission to provide financial assistance, emotional support, and life-changing wish experiences to families battling childhood cancer.
What You'll Do
- Create original graphic designs, illustrations, and visual assets for print, digital, and apparel applications
- Develop apparel design concepts and artwork, from concept through production-ready files
- Produce animated content and storyboards that communicate our nonprofit's message and values
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and refine Adventure Ted character applications
- Support the design of marketing materials, social media graphics, and campaign visuals
- Maintain design consistency across all brand touchpoints and platforms
What We're Looking For
- Portfolio demonstrating proficiency in graphic design, animation, or apparel design
- Proficiency with industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, animation tools, or equivalent)
- Strong visual communication skills and understanding of brand identity
- Ability to work collaboratively and incorporate feedback from team members
- Passion for supporting meaningful nonprofit work and creative problem-solving
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
