About the Role
As Accounts Receivable Specialist at Rally House, you'll play a vital role in our financial operations, managing cash flow and maintaining strong relationships with our business partners. This position reports to our accounting department and directly impacts our company's fiscal health.
What You'll Do
- Process and monitor accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely posting to the general ledger
- Manage customer payment collections, including follow-up on outstanding invoices and payment reminders
- Reconcile customer statements and resolve discrepancies or billing disputes with professionalism and attention to detail
- Maintain customer account information and credit files with complete, organized documentation
- Prepare aging reports and provide analysis on receivable balances for management review
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve order and billing questions
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; accounting coursework or certification (such as AP/AR training) a plus
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounting, or a related finance role
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; ERP system experience is valuable
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service
