Responsibilities Supervise and manage school facilities, maintenance staff, and campus safety to ensure a clean, secure, welcoming environment Oversee budget management, purchasing, inventory, and financial planning for non-instructional school operations Coordinate student transportation logistics and monitor vendor performance Manage human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, payroll coordination, and staff scheduling for operations and support teams Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including food service, special education, and health and safety codes Lead operational planning, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives Partner with the school leadership team on strategic decisions and annual planning cycles Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services and supplies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, operations management, or related field 3+ years of experience in school operations, education administration, or comparable organizational management role Strong financial acumen and experience with budget development and monitoring Proficiency with operations management software and data systems Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to educational equity and the charter school mission About the Company KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program) is a national network of tuition-free, college-preparatory public charter schools serving students in underserved communities.
