About the Role
This full-time, on-site Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) position in Fresno, Fresno County, places you at the heart of teaching and learning in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Deaf Studies. As an ISA, you will help faculty deliver high-quality instruction to students pursuing careers in speech-language pathology, audiology, and deaf studies. The department selects the candidate best suited to each opening and assigns instructional duties according to program needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist faculty in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Deaf Studies with day-to-day instructional activities.
- Support students during coursework, labs, and learning sessions within the College of Health and Human Services.
- Carry out instructional tasks assigned by the department in line with course objectives.
- Help maintain an organized, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications
- Current student standing aligned with the requirements of an Instructional Student Assistant role.
- Background or coursework relevant to communicative sciences, deaf studies, or a related discipline within health and human services.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work on campus in Fresno during the 2026-27 academic year.
