Role Overview
The National Library Board (NLB) is seeking a Branch Manager to join its team in nurturing readers for life, learning communities, and a knowledgeable nation. As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and services at one of NLB's 28 libraries across Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide).
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily library operations to ensure smooth running and customer satisfaction
- Manage staff and resources effectively to meet service delivery targets
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance library services and programs
- Evaluate and improve the user experience through feedback mechanisms
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate library activities into broader community initiatives
Qualifications
- Degree in Library Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Branch Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with library systems and technology
