Build the skills for this role

Prioritize commercial forecasting methods, life sciences market dynamics (access, demand, competitive events), Excel/Python or analytics tooling fluency, and consulting-grade communication. No certification package is supplied in DATA—skip paid cert claims until a real list exists.

Prepare a case on building a product forecast under incomplete data; a story about leading analysts under tight deadlines; and questions on how EY’s life sciences commercial team measures forecast accuracy and client value. Be ready on ethics, independence, and handling conflicting stakeholder “truths.”

Strong fit if you already lead commercial analytics for pharma/biotech, enjoy consulting pace, and can translate models into decisions for non-technical leaders. Weaker fit if you want pure research scientist work or fully remote IC modeling with no client management.
